SpaceX successfully becomes first private company to send humans in Space.

SpaceX has officially become the first private company to send humans in the space on 31st may 2020. Taking place in Kennedy space center in Florida, the falcon 9 powered Dragon crew SpaceX capsule, taking both the NASA astronaut Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley.



This launch will take an American Astronaut in space after almost a decade, from the last American Astronaut had travelled to space. In one emotional part of the live feed the two pilot revealed a third person who was accompanying them as a representative of their families and the third passenger was a plush toy dinasaur.

Falcon 9, a rocket ship built by an American billionaire entrepreneur Elon musk's SpaceX.



Here is what makes the SpaceX liftoff special:

1. SpaceX becomes the first private company to launch people into orbit.

2. This is the first time that an American Astronauts have flown away from US soil since the space shuttle program ended in 2011.

3. The flight ended nine year launch drought for NASA.

4. For Elon musk, the launch represents another milestone for the reusable rockets his company pioneered to make spaceflight less costly and more frequently.
