Facts about Vela Supernova Remnants

 The Vela Supernova Remnant is a Supernova Remnant in the Southern Constellation Vela. The association of the Vela Supernova Remnant with the Vela Pulsars, made by astronomers at the University of Sydney in 1968. 

Facts about Vela Supernova Remnant:-

1. It is one of the closest Supernova Remnant know to us.

2. It's source type 2 Supernova.

3. It has exploded approximately 11,000 - 12,300

4. It overlaps the Puppis ( A Supernova Remnant)

5. It includes NGC 2736.

6. Vela and Puppis are the largest and brightest features in the X-rays sky.
