India's Third Mission Towards Moon - Chandrayaan 3

ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization is an Indian Space Agency which is well known all around the world. It has launched several space satellites and rovers such as MOM, Chandrayaan 1 and 2 it has also launched 104 satellites in one go which is a record.

It is now coming up with it's third installment of Mission Moon or Chandrayaan 3 mission. Chandrayaan 3 might launch in the early half of 2021, instead of second half of 2020 suggested by the government. Unlike it's predecessor Chandrayaan 2 it will only have Rover and Lander and not an orbiter.

Chandrayaan 1 which was India's first mission to moon found major things such as presence of water on the surface of the moon while Chandrayaan 2 which was launched last year lost its contact just few minutes before the landing which was a sad moment for every Indian as everyone were waiting for it to land. But it is still available on the surface of the moon.

The upcoming Missions if ISRO includes Missions such as Gaganyaan which will take humans in the space and there are many other missions on the way
