What is Kepler - 452b ???

 Kepler - 452b is an exoplanet orbiting the sun like star Kepler 452 about 1,402 light years from Earth. It is about 60%larger than the Earth and is considered very similar to the Earth.

 Both planets orbits a G2 - type star of about the same temperature; however the star hosting the Kepler - 452b is 6 billion years old , 1.5 billion years older than our sun.

Astronomers says that the planet is in the “Goldilocks Zone". It means that the distance of the planet from it's star is just right, making it neither too hot nor too cold.

Scientists believe that this planet may have oceans and continents just like Earth. Scientists believe Kepler - 452b may not only be habitable, but possibly even inhabited.
