Can an animal live in space?

There are many characters which an animal should posses to completely live in space some are mention below:

1. Mechanism to derive energy.

This would be essential as there are very few chemical energy sources in space. Therefore a animal have to make it's own food.

2.The animal should be large

It has to be very large so as to gain solar energy and to gain other essential elements which are full of nutrition

3. Need to leave near a star

It is unlikely an organisms could sustain itself outside of a solar system.

4. It would not be intelligent

Intelligence need a large amount of energy and would not get energy if it is away from star.

5. It would have to have evolved on an asteroid.

Life like this could not evolve in space so it has to evolve on a large object like asteroid

6. Reproduction should be asexual

Space is too large to find a partner for sexual reproduction.
